250th Anniversary, Saffron Walden Baptist Church

New “Your Stories” community showcase display in the museum, commemorating the 250th anniversary of Saffron Walden Baptist Church, with items from the Baptist Church, Essex Record Office and the Gibson Library.

There will also be an Anniversary Exhibition at the Baptist Church 9th-12th May.

There will be free guided walks around former Baptist church sites by a blue badge guide…Thurs 9th May and Sat 11th May, to book for one of these walks please contact Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre

Standard Opening Times

Monday – Closed

Tuesday – Open 10am-5pm

Wednesday – Open for schools and pre-booked groups only during term time.

In Essex School Holidays we are open to the public 10am-5pm on Wednesdays

Thursday, Friday & Saturday: Open 10am – 5pm

Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays: Open 2pm-5pm

(During the winter months we close earlier at 4.30pm November – February)
