Heritage Open Day – Free Admission
September 7th 2024 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saffron Walden Museum has achieved full Accreditation from the Arts Council. To celebrate join us on Saturday 7th September as part of the National “Heritage Open Days” Festival. We’ll be waiving our admission fees, so the museum will be free to visit that day. This is a great opportunity to experience the museum for free if you haven’t visited recently.
Visitors can check out the new features we’ve added. We will be holding a second hand-book sale and plants will be available to purchase, to help support the museum. There will be mystery social history items to identify and the Essex Finds Liaison Officer will be on hand to identify any archaeology finds you have discovered on your walks or in your gardens.
For general admission there is no need to book in advance.
