Art Competition. What’s Your Favourite Wonder?
What’s your favourite wonder?
What’s your favourite treasure at Saffron Walden Museum? We invite you to unleash your creativity and celebrate our 190th birthday in style! Grab your pens and pencils to illustrate your favourite wonder from the Saffron Walden Museum Collection. Are you captivated by animals, enchanted by buried treasure, or inspired by global adventures? Everyone has something special that catches their eye, so why not bring it to life on paper? Join the fun and let your imagination run wild! Enter for a chance to see your design brought to life on our 1840s printing press. Four lucky winners will have a VIP printing experience where their designs will be transformed into tote bags and printed on the big press. Due to the nature of the press design will be printed in single colour.
Shortlisted entries will be displayed at the museum reception from 14 April to 20 April, and the winners will be decided by public vote.
To enter, draw your favourite wonder from the Saffron Walden Museum and send it to Museum@Uttlesford.gov.uk, Saffron Walden Museum, Museum Street, Saffron Walden, CB1 1BN, or drop it off at the museum’s welcome desk. Remember to label it Favourite Wonders competition.
