Murder at the Museum
Cardboard Clues, the app-based immersive murder mystery game “Murder in the Museum” has come to Saffron Walden Museum. Just £25 for a team of up to 6 people. There are 3 criminal cases to solve, ranging from the case of a moustache vandalism to someone being squashed beneath an Egyptian sarcophagus! It’s family-friendly, challenging and engaging for all ages. All the mysteries are light-hearted and fun, with no graphic content. Recommended for ages 8+. It initially ran at Saffron Walden Museum from 22nd July until 2nd November 2025 and has now been extended until the end of February half-term 2026, during the museum’s standard opening hours. Cardboard Clues was created by Darrell Cannon, the founder of Ready Steady Roll, an award-winning board game café in Sharnbrook, Bedford. After selling his café in 2022, Darrell collaborated with top publishers to release two board/card games: Shoot for the Stars by Big Potato Games and Klink by Rebel Studios.
