Heritage Open Day – Free Admission

September 7 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

- Free

Free admission day for all to the Museum for Heritage Open Day on Saturday 7th September (no need to book in advance).

There will also be:

  • a Second Hand book sale to raise funds for the museum
  • Mystery object boxes – can you identify the quirky social history objects from our learning collection?

Essex Finds Liaison Officers will be on hand to identify your archaeological objects – if you book in advance via https://calendly.com/pasessex

Standard Opening Times

Monday – Closed

Tuesday – Open 10am-5pm

Wednesday – Open for schools and pre-booked groups only during term time.

In Essex School Holidays we are open to the public 10am-5pm on Wednesdays

Thursday, Friday & Saturday:  Open 10am – 5pm

Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays: Open 2pm-5pm

(During the winter months we close earlier at 4.30pm November – February)
