Join us on the 23rd of June in the Grounds of Saffron Walden Museum and castle for a day of music and dancing.
Occurring every three years, Fete de la Musique celebrates music across the town of Saffron Walden. Inspired by the originally French festival which is held on summer solstice, all concerts are free and accessible to the public.
This year sees over 600 musicians perform at 10 venues in Saffron Walden, including the Town Hall, Market Square, Almshouses, Bridge End Gardens, and more. Every musical taste is catered for, including big bands, rock, salsa, buskers, choirs of every type, jazz, pop, classical and Latin; it will be a musical feast for the ears.
The Fete starts at 12pm at each of the venues, and the performances will last until around 6pm with singing and dancing in the market square. The Museum is open for this festival of music from 10am-5pm. For More information Click Here.
