Life in the Ice Age explored the ice ages in Britain and featured a life-size Stone Age man, as well as a sabre-toothed cat and European wolf from the Travelling Natural History Museum.

Wednesday – Open for schools and pre-booked groups only during term time.
In Essex School Holidays we are open to the public 10am-5pm on Wednesdays
Thursday, Friday & Saturday: Open 10am – 5pm
Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays: Open 2pm-5pm
(During the winter months we close earlier at 4.30pm November – February)
