As the Sun sits high in the sky come and explore the history of the British Summer Holiday from its beginnings to its waterlogged sunsoaked seaside best. How has how we holiday changed? From suits to swimsuits, trains to planes, soggy sandwiches to instant BBQs. The history of the holiday with plenty of fun for everyone (ages 1-100).
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – Open 10am-5pm
Wednesday – Open for schools and pre-booked groups only during term time.
In Essex School Holidays we are open to the public 10am-5pm on Wednesdays
Thursday, Friday & Saturday: Open 10am – 5pm
Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays: Open 2pm-5pm
(During the winter months we close earlier at 4.30pm November – February)
