Join us for an unforgettable Summer of Wonder as Saffron Walden Museum celebrates its 190th anniversary! This summer, we invite you to explore the fascinating, hidden treasures within our collection.

Thursday 14th August 

Samurai Helmet

Make your own Samurai helmet and mask

1.5 hr sessions starting at 10am and 1pm.

£1o per child+ standard entry for accompanying adults

Ages 8+, younger children welcome but will need much more help from their grown-up

Standard Opening Times

Monday – Closed

Tuesday – Open 10am-5pm

Wednesday – Open for schools and pre-booked groups only during term time.

In Essex School Holidays we are open to the public 10am-5pm on Wednesdays

Thursday, Friday & Saturday:  Open 10am – 5pm

Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays: Open 2pm-5pm

(During the winter months we close earlier at 4.30pm November – February)
